Five best electronic music composers: a blog about the best electronic music composers.

We like to talk about our favourite composers, but it is hard to say who is the best. The answer depends on how you define β€˜best’. Different people have different definitions, and they are usually subjective.

I have collected many different opinions and tried to make a list of the best electronic music composers. I also used a few objective criteria such as awards and number of sales. This is my subjective list:

Five Best Electronic Music Composers

The people who compose electronic music are similar to other artists in that they have a talent for using the tools of their trade to make something beautiful. However, they are also different in that instead of using traditional instruments, they use machines. Because these machines are still quite new, the genre is constantly evolving and changing, making it a very exciting one for those who create it. Here are five of the most popular electronic music composers:

Nowadays, electronic music is a well-known genre of music. It has been developing for more than 60 years already. The first attempts to create a record of a musical instrument were made in the 19th century; however, the real beginning of work in this field goes back to 1950s when the pioneer of electronic music Robert Moog and his team created the first modular synthesizer.

After that, new musicians appeared and started experimenting with sounds to create amazing pieces of music. The following article tells about five best composers of electronic music who have left their mark in history.

1. Skrillex

Skrillex is an American electronic music producer and DJ. He is the former lead singer of the band From First to Last, with whom he recorded two albums, and has won a total of six Grammy Awards. It was announced on February 15, 2011 that Skrillex had signed with Deadmau5’s label mau5trap as well as Big Beat/Atlantic Records.

Joel Thomas Zimmerman (born January 5, 1981), better known by his stage name deadmau5 (pronounced “dead mouse”), is a Canadian progressive-house music producer and performer from Toronto, Ontario. Zimmerman produces a variety of styles within the house genre and sometimes other forms of electronic music. His tracks have been included in numerous compilation albums such as the 2007 In Search of Sunrise 6: Ibiza CD. The February 2008 issue of Mixmag’s music magazine included a free CD which was titled MixMag Presents: The Hottest New Name In Dance! DEADMAU5 Tech-Trance-Electro-Madness, mixed by Zimmerman. Tracks have also been included and presented on Armin van Buuren’s A State of Trance radio show. His debut album, Get Scraped, was released in 2005
