About Electronic Music Mall

Our Mission

Electronic Music Mall was founded with a simple yet powerful mission: to help producers and DJs everywhere make better music, through approachable guidance and free tools that make working with tempo, sound design, gear, and mixing clearer, more rewarding, and more enjoyable.

We believe that everyone who loves to make music, from first-beat beginners to seasoned producers, deserves access to accurate tools, comprehensive resources, and trustworthy guidance. Our platform bridges the gap between confusing jargon and confident, well-informed decisions about production technique, gear, synths and drum machines, sound design, mixing, and DJing.

Through our free collection of tools, we help people make informed decisions about tempo and delay times, MIDI note frequencies, sample rates and bit depth, audio file sizes, and harmonic key mixing. Every tool is designed with real-world applicability in mind, tested against the day-to-day realities of life in the studio and the DJ booth, and continuously improved based on user feedback. To go deeper, explore our Iconic Synths & Drum Machines museum, with galleries on legendary synthesizers, drum machines and samplers, and studio gear.

Our Story

Electronic Music Mall emerged from a need we experienced firsthand. While trying to sort through conflicting advice and scattered references, we noticed a common challenge: the lack of accessible, accurate tools for the everyday decisions that come with producing a track and playing a set.

Great records rely heavily on curiosity and a little know-how, which are invaluable. However, good production also benefits from clear answers about how long a delay should be, which note maps to which frequency, how big a render will be, and which keys mix harmonically. We saw an opportunity to combine well-researched music-production knowledge with modern tools to help people make confident decisions and get more out of every session.

Our team began developing tools that we wished existed when we started our own production journeys. Each calculator and guide was created to solve real problems encountered at the workstation, in the studio, and in the booth. We tested every tool against real sessions, refined the logic based on feedback, and ensured that the results reflected current, widely accepted production practice.

Today, Electronic Music Mall serves active users worldwide, from first-time producers to lifelong electronic music enthusiasts. Our tools have helped people sync delays to tempo, tune their sound design, budget sample rates and file sizes, mix in key, and build confident habits in the studio.
