Electronic music was the product of a musical revolution that took place in the mid-90s. In this article, we will look at how 90s electronic music influenced the current music industry. To understand the effect of electronic music on today’s music industry, we must first look back at what happened in the 90s.

In 1991/92, a new type of music appeared in night clubs. It was called “rave”. It had an almost hypnotic sound and contained strange noises, which sounded like they were made with synthesizers. People danced to these sounds all night long, and many became addicted to the drug Ecstasy when they did.

At first there were only a few producers of these sounds, most notably The Prodigy and The Chemical Brothers, but soon more and more producers joined them and created their own style. Their styles ranged from hard techno and acid house to ambient and chillout. Some DJs even mixed together different styles for their sets, which helped create a new genre called “trance.”

There was nothing like it. It was the biggest revolution in music since rock and roll. It had a sound that was completely new, and it was everywhere. No one could escape it. It dominated radio and television, soundtracks and commercials, films and video games. It was 90s electronic music.

It’s hard to believe that it’s been over twenty years since the 90s ended. The decade that brought us Nirvana, Pearl Jam, The Smashing Pumpkins, and Alanis Morissette also brought us some of the most innovative electronic music ever created.

The seeds of 90s electronica were planted in the 80s with artists like Kraftwerk and Gary Numan pioneering a new genre that became known as techno. But it wasn’t until the 90s that electronic music became mainstream.

The 90s saw an explosion of electronic bands like Prodigy, Chemical Brothers, Underworld and Fatboy Slim dominating the charts around the world. What made this music so appealing to a mainstream audience?

Electronic music was becoming more and more popular with each passing year. It soon became one of the most popular genres of music. In fact, tracks like “Sandstorm” by Darude were inescapable.

In addition, electronic music festivals were being held all around the world. The biggest ones include Tomorrowland, Ultra, and Electric Daisy Carnival. They are visited by thousands of people every year.

This article includes a short history of the era, followed by an explanation of several different subgenres that emerged as a result of experimentation with electronic music during this time period. First, a quick history:

The 80s were the dawn of electronic music as we know it. The first commercial synthesizer was sold in 1975; since then, technology has advanced at an incredible rate, making electronic music possible for anyone with a few hundred dollars to spare. During the 80s, these developments resulted in the birth of house and techno music, both of which remain popular today. However, technological limitations and lack of interest from mainstream audiences kept most forms of dance music underground until the early 90s.

Electronic music has been here for decades, but it is only in recent years that we have seen it get so mainstream. The electric piano was invented in 1876, but it wasnt until the early 90s when we began to hear electronic music all around us. This revolution of music has changed the way we listen to and produce music today.

It all started with Acid House in the late 80s. Acid House was a genre of house music that became popular in Chicago, Illinois; Detroit, Michigan; Manchester, UK; Glasgow, Scotland and Berlin, Germany during the late 1980s. A key element of this genre was the use of synthesizers to produce sounds that were not possible on traditional analog sound-generating devices. Invented by DJ Pierre of Phuture in 1987, the acid house sound was characterized by its squelching bassline (often created by lowering the pitch of a Roland TB-303 until it became a smooth sine wave) and its distinctive acidic sound (created by turning resonance up).

In fact, one of the pioneers of this genre was Moby who came out with his album Go in 1991. The album contained a number of hit singles. One such song which became very popular and has been used many times since then is
