1. M83 – Intro (ft. Zola Jesus)

This song perfectly exemplifies what I love about M83 – its powerful, dreamy, and just downright fun. If you like this song, check out Reunion by M83 and Aria by Zola Jesus for more dreamy greatness.

2. Grimes – Oblivion

Grimes has such an interesting voice, and she uses it perfectly on this track. The lyrics are also interesting to think about and very relatable to young people. If you like Grimes, check out Genesis by Grimes or Vowels = Space and Time by Arca for similar sounds with different lyrics.

3. Daft Punk – Get Lucky (ft. Pharrell Williams)

This may be an obvious choice, but it’s

These are artists that have not yet reached mainstream success like Calvin Harris or Deadmau5 but are just as talented and just as deserving of your attention.

I will start with my current favorite artist – Nicolas Jaar. Nicolas Jaar is a Chilean-American musician and DJ born in New York City and raised in both New York and Santiago. While he started out making electronic music, his sound has evolved into something that cannot be easily labeled. His album Space Is Only Noise shows versatility in his talent, combining elements of ambient music, minimal techno, house music, jazz, pop and more.
