The week ahead promises a diverse range of sounds and experiences for local music fans and comedy enthusiasts.

  • On April 25, the Fresh Friday live music series at the Ameswell Hotel will feature an all-female showcase called BED CHEM, showcasing artists NOBODY’S GIRL, Danesa and KAT. The event aims to promote mental health awareness in the Filipino and Asian community.
  • Later the same evening, Richard Howell will perform at Meyhouse Palo Alto with his signature “bridge music” sound, which he describes as a “jazz pathway” that can connect and unite listeners.
  • On April 26, the event organizer of Fresh Friday has lined up another exciting showcase, this time featuring the popular jazz saxophonist and educator.

Electronic Music and Festivals

  • Dabin Presents: Stay in Bloom festival, which debuted in 2024, will take place at Stanford’s Frost Amphitheater from April 26-27. The festival will feature electronic music artists such as Blanke, Audrey Nuna, and Tisoki, showcasing their unique electronic guitar, synthesizers, and drum pads.

Supporting a Cause

  • The Riekes Center, a nonprofit organization in Menlo Park, will host its Rally for Riekes fundraising event on April 26. The event aims to celebrate the center and support its scholarships.
