The Solid State Series 10th Anniversary Concert

The Solid State Series 10th Anniversary Concert is coming up, and we are so excited to celebrate with you! It’s been 10 years since the first time we performed “Getaway Line” for a live audience, and it’s hard to believe that so much time has gone by. To celebrate our anniversary this year, we’ve put together a special concert at the Lomond Society of Music on December 14th. We’ll be performing some of our old favorites from the early days as well as some new songs from our upcoming album.

This year’s concert is going to be special in another way too! We’ve decided to do something that we’ve never done before: an Open Rehearsal! Yes, it’s true – we are opening up our rehearsals to everyone who wants to attend.

When: Tuesday, December 12th @ 6pm

Where: The Ark Theater (2nd Floor)

Please note that you must RSVP for the Open Rehearsal in order to attend! Space is limited.

The Solid State Series 10th Anniversary Concert is shaping up to be a landmark event. It will bring together three of the most influential electronic acts of the last decade, bands that are both pioneers and innovators in their respective genres.

There will be sets from both mainstays of the scene and a number of up-and-comers alike, with styles ranging from breakbeats and basslines to ambient soundscapes. The venue is an old church hall in North London, where the acoustics are ideal for this kind of music. There will also be food and drink available to buy at the venue.

It’s going to be an amazing night. It’s not every day that you get to see three such incredible acts all on one stage, and this is definitely one you won’t want to miss. The event takes place on Friday June 21st at 7:00 pm, tickets cost £20 each and can be bought online or reserved via email.

The line-up features:

The Chemical Brothers

Burial

Aphex Twin

These three bands have been pushing boundaries and breaking new ground for over two decades now. They’ve all got something different to offer, but there’s no doubt that they’ll put on an unforgettable show together!

The Solid State Series is proud to present our 10th Anniversary Concert at the Fillmore on June 15th.

The Solid State Series was founded in 2001 by Peter Gabriel and Ashok Sinha, with the goal of promoting electronic music by creating a live performance series. The series has been hosted at venues such as the Hollywood Bowl, Red Rocks Amphitheater, and Madison Square Garden. It has also served as a platform for many emerging artists.

The 10th Anniversary Concert will feature a number of artists who have performed in previous years:

Daft Punk – Daft Punk is a French electronic duo formed in 1993 by Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo and Thomas Bangalter. They achieved popularity in the late 1990s as part of the French house movement; they also had success in the years following, combining elements of house music with funk, techno, disco, rock and synthpop influences. They have worn ornate helmets and gloves to assume robot personas in most public appearances since 1999 and rarely grant interviews or appear on television. The duo were managed from 1996 to 2008 by Pedro Winter (Busy P), the head of Ed Banger Records. Early in the group’s career, the band members were strongly influenced by groups such as The Beach Boys

TiBorg is the most popular rock band in the world. Their last album, “Inevitable”, sold over a billion copies within the first month of its release. And at the start of this week, they released their new album, “The Solid State Series: Ten Years Later”.

The album’s release was accompanied by a huge world tour, which kicked off in Japan last week and will hit all major cities in the world before finishing in Mexico City next November. This week, it’s London’s turn to host TiBorg’s iconic show. The band will perform at the O2 Arena for 3 nights on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.

Ticket prices start from £85. They’re not cheap — but then again, TiBorg tickets are always expensive. This is what you get for being one of the most famous bands on Earth!

Tickets went on sale on Monday and sold out within 15 minutes. Fortunately for us, we managed to get our hands on some through a contact at the O2 Arena! We are very excited to see TiBorg perform live! We’ll be writing up an article after each night with an account of the concert and our thoughts on it. Stay tuned!
