Alesso, a Swedish DJ, is the next up-and-comer on the scene. He won the 2011 MTV EMA Best Worldwide Act and was recognized by DJ Magazine as being one of the top 100 DJs in 2012. Starting at age 13, he has been producing music for almost 10 years now and is known for his remixes of tracks by Avicii, Swedish House Mafia and Sebastian Ingrosso.

DJs are not your typical classical musicians. They are the people who play music at parties, nightclubs, and live performances. DJs play a variety of genres that range from popular dance music to hip-hop and even electronic music. A DJ will typically play at least two songs during their set, but they can sometimes play up to seven songs in one night.
A DJ’s job is to mix the sound and create their own unique combination of music. They will use audio equipment such as turntables, CDJ’s, and vinyl records to produce their sound. The DJ will then use a microphone to speak over their creation while they are playing it live. The DJ’s job is to entertain the audience by playing music that they enjoy listening to and dancing with them as well.
