I’m trying to get into electronic trance music and I have no idea where to start. I like the sound of it, but the more I read about it the more intimidating it gets. What are some good starter tracks/artists?
I would suggest starting with Paul Oakenfold’s “Tranceport” album. It’s a mix CD that features tracks from such artists as Sasha & Digweed, Way Out West and many others. The CD also includes songs by Paul Oakenfold himself as well as other artists who mixed the songs on the CD. Many of these artists are considered pioneers of the genre, so this is a good place to start.
Once you listen to Tranceport and find that you like the music, be sure to check out Paul Oakenfold’s other albums and mix CDs. You can find them on Amazon if they’re not available at your local record shop (they might have them in stock). If you want to find more mixes by Paul Oakenfold, look up his name in Google or on YouTube; there are many DJs out there who mix his songs into their own mixes.
Other good places to start would be Armin van Buuren and Above & Beyond; both of these DJs produce very uplifting and emotional music
Electronic Trance is a genre that is not very well known. There are some people who have heard it before and maybe even listened to it but I am here to tell you that this music is really something else.
This genre of music is usually played in underground clubs with a dark room, flashing lights, and drugs. But there are other ways to listen to electronic trance too.
If you are an electronic music lover or just want to learn more about the genre then you can find many different websites on the Internet where you can listen to this kind of music for free. Here are some great websites:
The first website is called “Electronic Trance Radio” which has many different stations playing electronic trance all day long and night long as well. On this website you will find many different genres from House Music, Techno Music, Dubstep Music and more!
The second website I would recommend would be “Trance Radio” as they have a wide variety of artists that play electronic trance music such as “The Prodigy”, “Daft Punk”, “Deadmau5”, “Skrillex” and many more!”
If you are like me, you love the style of music known as trance. It has a certain magic to it that many other forms of music lack, and once you get into it, you can’t seem to get enough.
There is a problem with trance music though: Many people don’t know how to listen to it. They might find themselves bored during a trance song, not knowing that they are missing out on some amazing qualities of the song.
Here are some tips to help you open your mind up to the world of electronic music, with emphasis on trance:
1) Don’t try to just follow the beats and rhythms. Trance is much more than this. Trance is about the emotions hidden in between the beats; those deeper, buried feelings that we all have but don’t always express openly. Trance artists will often take these feelings and stretch them out over several minutes, allowing us to experience them fully and completely.
2) There are two types of trance tracks: long and short. Long tracks can last up to twenty minutes or even more! These tracks will generally have an intro followed by several different sections or movements that create an overall theme or feeling for the track as a whole. Short tracks usually consist of only one section or movement and can be
I’ve been a trance fan since my teen years and I always wanted to share my passion for this genre of music. I’ve been following the scene since the early days and it has changed a lot since then. I have no affiliation with any artist, label or club; I just listen to what I like for my own pleasure.
Electronic trance is a type of music that is created with electronic instruments such as synthesizers, samplers, and drum machines. It originated in the United States in the late 1970s as part of the disco movement. The term “trance” was coined by British DJs Paul Oakenfold and Danny Rampling in 1992 to describe their new style of house music that they were playing at clubs in London. They named it after the French word “transe” which means “to go into a state of altered consciousness or ecstasy.”
The first electronic trance song was released in 1993 by English DJ Pete Tong with his track “Pete Tong – Loneliness (Is All Around Us)” on XL Recordings. This song became an international hit and helped popularize electronic trance around Europe. Since then many other artists have followed suit including Paul Van Dyk, Ferry
For many people, trance is an acquired taste. Its fairly repetitive, looping nature can be off-putting to some and it can take a bit of getting used to.
For those new to the genre, the best starting point is probably progressive trance. This is a more chilled out sound than some of the more full-on styles of trance, such as hard trance.
The key thing with trance is to listen to it in the right frame of mind. Trance has a long history as a dance music and its not much fun if youre trying to listen to it at work or while studying (I speak from experience). Save your listening for times when youre at home or by yourself and are able to relax, sit back and lose yourself in the music.
A few artists worth checking out if youre just starting out include Above & Beyond who produce lush progressive tracks like Home; Markus Schulz who produces some great vocal tracks like The New World (featuring Khaz); and Paul Van Dyk who produces classic tracks like For an Angel.
Electronic trance music is a type of musical genre that is performed by digital instruments. The main feature of this type of music is that they have a hypnotic beat, which makes it great to listen to when you are feeling stressed or anxious. There are different types of electronic trance music available on the internet today, but one of the most popular ones is called Deep House. This style is usually very easy to listen to and it can be an excellent way to relax after a long day at work or school. You can find many different versions of this type of music on the internet, and if you do not like one version then you will probably like another one.
Most people who listen to electronic trance music enjoy listening to it because it can be very soothing and relaxing. Many people find that this type of music allows them to clear their minds and allows them to focus on the task at hand without any distractions. Other people find that listening to this kind of music helps them get into a calm state where they can think clearly about what they want to accomplish or where they want their life to go. Whatever your reason may be for liking this
Electronic Trance music is a style of dance music that was developed in the late 1980’s and early 1990’s. This style of music is usually characterized by a tempo of between 125 and 150 beats per minute, with repeating melodic phrases and a musical form that distinctly builds tension and elements throughout a track often culminating in 1 to 2 “peaks” or “drops”.
The music is intended to be an aid to dancing rather than listening, although it is not uncommon to find people who will listen to this genre at home or in their car. The genre has evolved over the years with many sub genres being created, some only lasting a few years.
Trance music is very popular in Europe, especially Germany, the UK, Holland and Scandinavia. There are also many trance festivals held in countries like Poland, Germany, Australia, Canada and more. In recent years the genre has grown considerably in popularity worldwide with festivals taking place all around the world.
