Hip Hop Chillout Mix: a blog about a new chill out mix that has hip hop mixed in with relaxing music.
I love finding new ways to relax, and recently I found something great: the most relaxing music, with hip hop beats mixed in.
The inspiration for this blog came from one of my mentors, who always works with very chilled out electronic music playing in the background. After hearing him use it for several weeks I decided to ask him what he was listening to.
He said that he had been looking around for some good chill electronic music with hip hop beats (he’s more of a hip hop fan than me), but hadn’t really found anything that fit the bill. So he had decided to make his own mix by combining various tracks by artists like Emancipator and Pretty Lights with some smooth old school rap.
I immediately tried to find it myself, and was overjoyed when I did! The mix is titled “Chillstep Mix” on YouTube, but I don’t know if that’s official or not. I’ve been listening to it almost every day since then, and I’m already hooked! It’s also inspired me to start this blog since there seems like there could be a lot of interest for something like
Hip Hop Chillout Mix: a blog about a new chill out mix that has hip hop mixed in with relaxing music.
I’m really excited to share this new chill out mix with you guys. It’s a little different from what I usually do because it’s got rap and hip hop mixed in with relaxing music, but I think it works.
I’ve been looking for a way to make my mixes more diverse and this is definitely a step towards that goal. I’ve been experimenting with incorporating other styles of music into my mixes and so far this is the best result I’ve had.
This is my first time doing something like this so please let me know how you feel about it!

Chill Out and Hip Hop?
I recently saw a video for a mix of chill out music that had hip hop tracks as well. This led me to do a bit of research on the genre, and I was surprised to find that it has been around for a while. So far, I have found two mixes from 2003. At the time, they were considered more like “chill out remixes” than a separate genre; however, most of these mixes quickly became popular, with many being downloaded over 100,000 times in the first week they were available.
I decided to download some sample mp3s from one of these chill out hip hop mixes. There are a lot of cool tracks in there. The mellow beats and relaxing harmonies seem to work well with the chill out songs (even though I don’t like rap). It is definitely an interesting combination.
Most of the time you don’t stop to listen to a song, you just put it on in the background and let it play. This is perfect for Hip Hop Chillout Mix by DJ Chrizz Beatz. It contains a nice blend of hip hop, electronic and classic chill out music. The songs are all relaxing, but at the same time there are hip hop beats that make it more upbeat than a typical chill out mix, which will make you want to pay more attention.
The songs all have a good tempo and flow nicely from one to another. It also has several songs that you have probably heard before, but they sound great in this mix with the other songs so they almost feel like new songs.
One of my favorite parts was when the first song ended and DJ Chrizz Beatz took over with some scratching. I’m not a big fan of DJ’s just talking during a mix, but he did it briefly and tastefully and only said “Chill Out”. Then he started playing some downtempo electronic beats mixed in with some quiet piano riffs that really sounded awesome together. He kept adding small samples from other songs and building up to each new beat drop, which made me want to listen more closely because I wanted to hear what
This chill out mix is a perfect blend of relaxing music and hip hop. Featuring artists such as: Biggie, Notorious BIG, Eminem, 2Pac, A Tribe Called Quest, and more. Are you looking for a new hip hop chillout mix? Look no further.
You can download this mix here.
Here is the first mix in a new series of free download mixes I’ll be sharing. The idea behind the Hip Hop Chillout Mix was to create a chilled out atmosphere and add some hip hop beats and vocals over top.
The mix starts off with some classic vocal cuts before moving into a more electronic sounding section. Around the halfway mark the mix dips into a deeper section before finishing up with a more upbeat feel.
I’m planning on posting a new mix each week that you can use to relax, study, or just chill out with. They’ll all have something unique about them but also all have that chilled out feel to them.
A few weeks ago, I was sitting next to someone on a plane who was listening to music, and I asked him if he would turn it down. He took off his headphones and looked at me. “I’m sorry,” he said, “It’s my tinnitus.”
Tinnitus is a condition in which you hear ringing in your ears all the time, often described as a high-pitched tone. It’s usually caused by damage to your inner ear from too much exposure to loud noise, and it can lead to hearing loss in extreme cases. But it also seems to be made worse by stress. And this guy on the plane had had a bad day: he’d been fired from his job at an airline, and then he’d been bumped from his flight. Now he couldn’t stop thinking about everything that had happened and everything that could happen – which only made his tinnitus worse.
I thought about this when I read this article about how more doctors are prescribing music therapy for patients with heart disease and other conditions. For people who have suffered heart attacks or cardiac arrest, listening to calming music seems to reduce anxiety and get their hearts back into a stable rhythm faster. It’s not clear yet why that works – it may be because music
