In order to make your New Year’s Eve party one to remember, we’ve compiled a list of resolutions that might help your NYE party go down with a bang.
1. Less is more
You don’t need to have loads of people over to have a good time. In fact, having fewer people can make the evening more intimate and fun. Invite over some close friends and limit the number of attendees; you’ll be able to spend more time with each guest and get to know them better.
2. Don’t spend too much money on food
Most of your guests will be more interested in catching up with friends than eating their weight in food. Keep it simple and serve finger foods or snacks instead of an elaborate meal. You also don’t want your guests getting too full too early in the night!
3. Have a few games available for entertainment
A great way to break up the evening is by offering some fun games for your guests. A few board or card games are guaranteed to keep everyone entertained, whether they’re those who like games or not!
4. Make sure the music is great
No matter what type of party you’re throwing, it’s important that you have a killer playlist prepared ahead of time if you don’t have
From making sure you have plenty of ice to knowing exactly when to break the piñata, we’ve come up with a list of resolutions that might help your NYE party go down with a bang.
1. Get enough ice to keep the beverages cold all night.
2. Have plenty of clean glasses ready.
3. Create a playlist with tracks that will get people in the mood to party as soon as they walk in the door, or if you’re planning on inviting your guests to make their own requests throughout the night, make sure you have a decent selection on hand yourself just in case it’s requested.
4. If kids are attending, make sure there’s age-appropriate entertainment for them too, like board games and movies (they’ll be tired from playing outside).
5. When it comes to food: more is more! People will inevitably eat more than normal because they’re busy drinking and having fun, so be prepared for hungry guests at all times by having plenty of snacks on hand (and not just chips and dip!).
6. Keep some toothpicks around for spearing those snacks and keeping everything tidy when people are eating while moving around the room socializing; these also come in handy for making party decorations look good as new
1. Get in the mood
New Year’s Eve is the best time to go out and party all night. But don’t let your preparations for the evening go too far, otherwise you may find yourself missing out on a great deal of fun just because you haven’t planned properly. So, before you head out for a good time, make sure that you have an idea of what to wear, what to eat and drink, and where to go. Once you know all of these details, you will be able to enjoy your party the way it was meant to be enjoyed.
2. Plan ahead
Like any other event, if you want a successful New Year’s Eve party then you need to plan it well in advance. With this in mind, start planning your New Year’s Eve party several weeks or even months before the big day itself. This way, you will know exactly what type of food and drinks will be served as well as how many guests are likely to attend. You should also consider arranging transport to take everyone home at the end of the night if they don’t wish to stay at home!
I was an electronic artist for many years before I became a DJ. My biggest break came when I had the opportunity to perform at a New Year’s Eve party in Berlin. It was an incredible experience, and I learned a lot from it. Here are some of my lessons:
Choose your venue carefully. My first performance was in a small, crowded nightclub. The crowd was very enthusiastic, but there were many other DJs playing at the same time. The music got very loud, and it was hard for me to hear what I was doing. My second performance was in a club that had been built especially for electronic artists. There were only two other DJs playing, and they were much less experienced than I was. I could hear myself better, and I could see what I was doing more clearly.
Don’t be afraid to make mistakes! Many people think that electronic artists are perfect all the time, but that just isn’t true. We make mistakes just like everyone else, and we learn from them. If you are afraid of making mistakes, you will never improve as an artist or DJ. So try something new! Try a different style of music or change the tempo of a song you’ve been working on for months! You might surprise yourself with how good it sounds
