You need to listen to other people’s albums first before working on your own. This is a blog about how listening to other electronic music artists helps your own music.

You might have heard all the rules when making an album, what genre’s are good, and what genre’s are bad. But you need to make your own opinion, and listen to what other artists have done, and see if you can do better!

Because of this I have decided to give my thoughts on a few albums I have been listening too recently, which I feel are very good examples of the electronic music genre, and that you should listen too as well!

When an electronic music artist starts working on their own album, they should listen to a lot of other stuff! This helps them understand the sounds they want to use & how to structure their songs.

It can be so easy to get caught up in your own music and forget how important it is to listen to other artists. When you are working on your own songs it can be difficult to see how things might fit together or even how the song will sound once it’s completed.

Listening to other artists really can help you find inspiration. I find it really helps me to hear what other people are doing with their music and then decide whether I want to use that idea in my own work. You don’t have to use everything you hear but if something stands out, there’s no harm in trying it out for yourself!

If you’re just starting out as a producer, try listening back through some of your favourite songs from artists who have inspired you over time. What do these tracks have in common? Do they all follow a similar structure? Do they all start with a certain type of sound? Once you’ve identified some similarities between these tracks, you’ll know what types of sounds or structures work well together and which ones don’t!

Thore Pfeiffer is a great German DJ known for his techno music. He has been producing albums since the 90s, but his most recent work is probably the best of his career. His newest record, Technorama, sounds like a dream come true for any fan of techno music. His sound design is amazing and there are so many layers of detail in each track that it is hard not to get lost in them all at once! As someone who loves this type of music but doesn’t always find myself being able to appreciate a lot of it (I don’t know why), Thore Pfeiffer’s work has really helped me enjoy more electronic music than ever before.

I’ve been making electronic music for about seven years now. In that time I have learned a lot about the process of writing good songs and albums. One thing that has helped me a great deal is to listen to other electronic music artists who are similar to my own style.

Listening to other electronic music artists is a key way to help you get started writing your own songs and albums. I find it helpful for several reasons:

1. It gets me in the mood to listen to music, which helps get me into the right “headspace” for composing music

2. It gives me ideas for new songs and albums

My favorite electronic music artist is probably Skrillex. He is an amazing performer and his music is excellent. My favorite song by him is “Bangarang”. Another electronic music artist that I enjoy listening to is Zedd.

Zedd has a really unique style of creating music, you can hear it in “Clarity”. Another favorite of mine is Diplo, his album Revolution was amazing! The way he combines hip-hop and electronic music together is incredible!
