This blog is dedicated to the best french electronic music. The artists who create it and the critics who cover it. I will also write about new releases and concerts in France.

You may have heard that France is a hotbed of electronic music, and the last quarter of 2017 was no exception. For this reason we decided to compile a list of the best French electronic music of 2017 and the artists who created them.

There are many great albums, singles, remixes and EPs out there, but it’s impossible to list them all. This list contains only the best French electronic music we could find.

I did my best to include only original tracks, but if you think that something is missing from this list let us know in the comments below!

We’re not sure if there’s something in the water in France, but they sure are producing some incredible electronic artists! The latest to add to our list is Parisian producer, “Para One”. This year he released his new album, “Club”, and it has been on repeat ever since. Here’s a taste of what we’re talking about:

It’s true that sometimes you can’t always get what you want. Even if you try, you might find that it’s hard to do. But if we try sometimes, well we just might find, we get what we need! That is the case with French producer “Para One”, who was turned away from the club scene at first and then later turned to making his own music after hearing Daft Punk.

The result? He started releasing tracks under his own name in 2004 and has been putting out quality work ever since – including this year’s album Club which features collaborations with MCs like Juicy J, 2 Chainz, Waka Flunka Flame and others (it’s also available now via iTunes). We’ve got a sample here for anyone interested…

So why does he call himself Para One? Well apparently there were two reasons: first

The end of the year is always a good time to take stock of the acts that have marked the year. This list will be updated weekly until December 31, 2017. Enjoy!

This article is updated every week with new discoveries and new tracks.

Whether you’re looking for something new or searching for a hidden gem, we have you covered.

Each month, we will be compiling a list of the best french electronic music and artists that has been released in the last month. This could be anything from the latest releases, a remix of a song you have been listening to on repeat, a new track from an upcoming artist, or even a new remix by one of your favorite artists. The list can include any genre of electronic music and may not always feature the most popular or well known artists. You can find the list here and on our Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram pages.

The list is compiled by our team of writers who are all avid listeners of electronic music. They research each track to provide their opinions and write about what they think is important in the song and why they think it should be included on this list. We hope you enjoy reading their thoughts and listening to their picks!

At the end of last year, I wrote about the Best French Electronic Music of 2016. That piece was a snapshot of a specific moment in time for French electronic music, before most of the world had discovered what we already knew: that France is one of the most exciting and innovative countries in the world right now when it comes to electronic music.

The past 12 months have been so immense that I decided to do another one this year. As before, this is not a definitive list. It’s simply my own personal favorites from 2017. I’ve tried to include tracks from all over France and while there are definitely some big names on here (no apologies), there are also some lesser-known artists that deserve more attention.

I hope you enjoy it!

French electronic music is a diverse and vibrant scene that has long been in the forefront of both experimental movements and DJ culture. It’s also a scene that’s had a profound impact on dance music as a whole.

For our Best French Electronic Music of 2017, we’ve selected ten tracks that exemplify this rich history, while also standing out as some of the best new sounds coming out of France right now.

The tracks below certainly don’t cover every subgenre or artist from France—the country is too big for us to do that in only ten tracks. Instead, we’ve highlighted artists who are pushing styles like techno, house, and electro in interesting new directions.

But what they all have in common is an ability to create music that feels distinctly French—with sounds and textures that capture the breadth and depth of the country’s contributions to electronic music over the years.
