Pioneers of Electronic Music is a blog about the biggest electronic artists. The site has been running since July 2012. We cover many different genres of music from Trance, House, Techno and more. We also run a weekly podcast where we go over the newest songs that were released and what is on the horizon for the biggest artists.

As one of the biggest fans of electronic music, I decided to start this blog because it’s a way for me to share my passion and enthusiasm for electronic music with others.

My name is Sandrine and I’m from France. I started listening to electronic music in 2009 when I was 13 years old. Since then, I’ve been hooked on everything related to this genre!

Electronic music is a type of music that utilizes electric or digital instruments, synthesizers, computers or electronic devices. It is a form of popular music which first appeared in the 1970s and has since developed into many subgenres.

Electronic music includes many different forms: it can be created using analogue synthesizers, computers or samplers, or even using digital signal processing. This means that it can be performed by DJs, producers and artists as well as being played as background music on television and radio programmes.

The pioneers of electronic music:

The pioneers of electronic music was a small group of composers and musicians at the time, mostly in Europe, who began working with electronic instruments early in the 20th century. The only instrument that existed to produce sound electronically at this time was the Theremin.

These pioneers began to explore the possibilities that lay within the new technology for creating music and sound. Many of them were composers and music theorists, not so much performers. They saw the potential for electronic music to change the way people interact with sound and created some very unique compositions using early electronic equipment.

As time went on more instruments were being developed, such as the Ondes Martenot, Trautonium and Electronic Sackbut, which led to more experimentation by composers and musicians.

In the 1950’s tape recorders became available and this opened up a lot of new possibilities for composers to experiment with sounds they were recording on tape. They could cut and splice these recordings to make loops, they could reverse them, they could speed them up or slow them down or play them backwards, etc. This led to a new wave of experimentation and exploration by many composers including Karlheinz Stockhausen, John Cage, Pierre Henry and Luc Ferrari among

As the voice of Apple, Steve Jobs said this quote to highlight his company’s imaginations and creativity that made them stand out from its competitors. This quote also applies to electronic artists as well as electronic music. Electronic music emerged in the late 70’s and 80’s, when synthesizers and other new technology started being mass-produced for the consumer market. The pioneers of electronic music were creating new sounds that no one else at the time had heard before. Some of the sounds were so far off from anything we’ve heard before, that people thought it was weird and didn’t really give it a chance at first. Nowadays, electronic music has become part of our mainstream culture.

The pioneers of electronic music were able to create their own unique sound because they weren’t afraid to be different. They weren’t afraid to take risks on new technology and experiment with it in order to create something new and innovative that had never been done before.

Electronic music is perhaps one of the most recent genres of music to exist. Throughout history, new types of music were invented as a result of technological developments. The harpsichord in the 1500s, for example, was a direct result of the invention of the hammer mechanism. The electronic drum pad in the 1980s was a direct result of inventing semi-conductors and transistors.

The first musical instrument that required electricity to be powered was invented by Thaddeus Cahill in 1897. This instrument, called Telharmonium, used telephone technology to convert electric currents into sound waves. However, the electrical system at the time was not sufficiently developed to produce high-quality audio, so this invention failed. It was not until after World War II that electronic music became feasible.

Even though modern computers were created in 1945, they were too expensive and large to be widely adopted by artists. In 1963, Robert Moog changed this with his invention of the Moog synthesizer. This compact and portable device allowed musicians to create more complex sounds with more control than ever before.

In 1972, Donald Buchla patented a similar device called an “Electric Music Box” which was used by Suzanne Ciani on her album “Seven Waves”
