As we all know, EDM music has grown tremendously over the last 10 years. We would like to thank you all for being apart of the movement. This is one of the many reasons why we are doing this cruise, to show appreciation and thank you for coming to all of our shows and making us who we are today.
Over the next few months leading up to the big event we will be posting blogs about a variety of topics that have to do with this epic cruise. These topics will include what you can expect from the cruise, what events will be going on throughout the trip, and how you can stay up to date with everything going on at the party both on land and sea!
So if you are looking for excitement and a good time than look no farther because this is going to be one for the books! We hope that you can join us for this once in a lifetime event! This is something that you will not want to miss out on as it is sure to be an amazing experience!

The event is going to be hosted on a boat that will go around the ocean for two days with only the best EDM playing from professional DJs from around the world. This event will go all night long. The boat departs at 12:00 AM and returns at 5:00 AM. We recommend that you sleep when you are there, as you will need it to keep up with the rest of your stay there.
Some people have asked if they can bring their own drinks and food. We do no allow any outside food or drinks onto the boat for safety reasons so please do not bring them with you. Instead we will have a full kitchen on board with chefs and bartenders who can make anything you want. We also have a full store that has everything from water to energy drinks to alcoholic beverages.

The Electronic Music Dance Party has been a huge success, and we have hit all the major markets in the country. We are now ready to launch The Electronic Music Dance Party Cruise!
The Electronic Music Dance Party Cruise is going to be a 4 day cruise on a Carnival Cruise ship out of Miami, FL. The cruise will take place from March 1st – March 5th. There will be over 50 electronic music DJ’s playing on the first three days, and then an EDM Festival style show for the last day. This festival will be held on an island that Carnival has purchased for this event only!
The ship will leave Miami at 9pm EST on March 1st and arrive back in Miami at 8am EST on March 5th.
This cruise is open to all ages, but anyone under 18 must be accompanied by an adult guardian over 21 years of age.**

Electro is a genre of electronic dance music and early hip hop directly influenced by the use of the Roland TR-808 drum machines, and funk. Records in the genre typically feature drum machines and heavy electronic sounds, usually without vocals, although if vocals are present they are delivered in a deadpan manner, often through electronic distortion such as vocoding and talkboxing. This is the main distinction between electro and previously prominent genres such as disco, in which the electronic sound was only part of the instrumentation. It also palpably deviates from its predecessor boogie for being less vocal-oriented and more focused on electronic beats produced by drum machines.
Electro was coined by influential hip hop group Afrika Bambaataa and his producer Arthur Baker to describe the music they were making in 1980. Electro has been incorporated into genres such as pop, disco and rock; but those who use it strictly mean the original genre that originated in the 1970s with music like Planet Rock by Afrika Bambaataa & the Soulsonic Force, “Flash Light” by Parliament, and “Numbers” by Kraftwerk.
