What is the purpose of this site?

Simply - you buy squares to advertise your product.

The Electronic Music Mall works in conjunction with the popular online information hub Morpheus Music.
Morpheus provides news, reviews, interviews etc. at no cost.
The Electronic Music Mall provides opportunities to obtain additional promotional space on a self service basis for those who would like it.
Since there is no charge for inclusion on Morpheus Music the demands on the site frequently exceed our time and resources, The Electronic Music Mall is a way for artists/labels to obtain their own free advertising space or to buy some additional promotion for a modest fee, supporting the running of both sites.
The Electronic Music Mall provides links to artists, record labels, online shops, radio stations, DJs, designers, magazines, sellers of electronic equipment .......

Advertisers can purchase fully editable squares that link directly to their site and then remain in place as a part of Internet history permanently.
Once all the squares are occupied the Home Page will resemble a mosaic with hundreds of different logos from electronic music advertisers.

If I pay for advertising will it be value for money?

Yes because you are not buying a single ad that will go out of date as months go by.
Your ad is fully editable meaning that you can return and update your image, text or links at any time, perhaps to highlight a new release.
All ads on the site (except the News Page) will remain online permanently (minimum 5 years) - for a one-off payment that in itself is good value.

Not only that - our squares on The Mall come with a lot of extra promotion arrangments at Morpheus Music to increase your visibility - maybe you want a CD reviewed, some news posted or a feature or interview written - the chart below shows what extras we arrange when you purchase our squares.

$10 advertising squares bought at The Mall are cumulative – should you ever buy more $10 squares, once you reach 5 we’ll give you a free $50 Home Page square.

How do I get started?

Step One - Have an image ready to fit exactly the squares you want to buy (each square is 10 x 10 pixels) - also have a larger pop up image ready.
Step two - You start by clicking the 'Buy Squares' link at the top of the page (don't worry you don't have to buy, this just lets you look around).
Step three - You then create a simple account, log-in and are able to choose squares following the on-screen instructions.
Step Four - Click 'Order Pixels' link and the tier you want to advertise upon from drop down menu (Homepage, Artists Page or Resouces Page, News Page).
Step Five - You can now upload your image and the software will tell you how much it will cost on your selected page before payment.
Step Six - Scroll down and you should see the full page grid and your uploaded image.
Step Seven - Click your uploaded image once (then let go of the mouse button) and you can drag it around to where you want it - then click once to fix.
Step Eight - Once your image is in place - click the 'Write Your Ad' button and you can enter text, upload a pop-up image and set a link.


You can purchase as many squares as you wish.
Once your payment has reached us we will confirm and publish your squares making them visible.

Note: - For each of the squares you buy on the Home Page we will add 4 blocks to the relevant Artists or Resources pages for you.

No worries. If you want to advertise on any of our pages - The Electronic Music Mall can do any or all of the necessary steps for you.
If you want we can set up an account for you, set up images and links and then hand it over to you.

Do you have any further plans for the site?

Very much so. This is not to become simply a static advertising space.
We have a number of ideas to expand the site and offer promotional opportunities to advertisers ... watch this space.

You can maximise your investment by spreading the word yourself. Is there anyone you know that might appreciate good value advertising space?

The more links to EMM, the more visitors we get, the more visitors you get.

What are the Terms and Conditions?

The Electronic Music Mall will not accept links leading to websites of an offensive nature, neither will we review similar CDs.
This includes violent/obscene/adult or material otherwise deemed to be offensive by the EMM.
If you do submit an image or link that is rejected, you will have the opportunity to provide an alternative, otherwise your money will be refunded and you will lose your pixels.
If your link is accepted and you later change the content of the linked site to show violent/offensive/obscene/adult material then your link will be removed until you provide a new one, and you will not get a refund of any kind.

If unforseen problems occur we will do our very best to keep this page live and problem free. However, the Electronic Music Mall will not be responsible for any problems which arise that cause downtime, errors, or otherwise. Refunds will not be possible.

While we will do our very best to make sure that as many people possible will see this site by actively promoting and marketing the Electronic Music Mall, however, we make absolutely no guarantees or representations regarding impressions, clicks, or performance.

When you 'buy' pixel blocks you do not 'own' any part of the Electronic Music Mall but rather you are granted the right to submit an image and link which will then be published in the respective space you have paid for.

Purchases are final - if your image and link are accepted and published on the homepage, you cannot get a refund.

If for whatever reason in the future you want your image and link removed from the homepage, you can do that, but you will not get a refund and the space will become available again.
